Oh So Busy

But who isn’t at this time of year ? man it’s crazy at the moment, I don’t know how I lived without a ute previously it’s been so useful (even with broken A/C) we’ve been really busy setting up Jenn’s Tea House in Kurrajong Village in the Hawkesbury area, which should be opening soon, I can’t wait to take some photos when it’s all set up, it will be a great place to chill out and enjoy some tea whilst enjoying the views over Sydney. I hope many people also get to enjoy it with us.

Also, I miss winter so badly, I hate this heat, it’s the worst.

Old Feature: CA18DET Datsun 1200 Ute

I used to do a bit of work for a few small car mags in australia, Fast Fours, Zoom, HPi and some others.

I was going back through some photos on my PC and saw this car that I did, I meet Michael through a friend and got the ok for the feature in Fast Fours, this would be a very fun car to own with a CA18DET in a small ute.

I’ll post some more old features and events in the future hopefully.

The shots are a mixture of the actual feature in the factory and some that were taken and sent to the magazine for approval of the feature

Eastern Creek 07.11.2009

On saturday I headed out with Tommo, Kirky and my younger brother Jay to Eastern Creek for them to ride at another track day, I was torn about racing myself, I love it, but it’s alot of money and stress, but fantastic fun, either way I decided I’d rather help out on the day with the Ute, Timing, & Photographing etc. All the boys beat their previous best times and no one crashed, so a win/win day, there were a few moments from everyone mostly with wheelspin in certain parts of the track, which was crazy to watch, but that’s what happens with an 1000cc motocycle, dying tyres and plenty of throttle input.

I use google reader for RSS, I check it a few times a day, I use it for motorcycle, modified car, Music, Tattoo & Vegetarian news, I’m subscribed to about 38 at the moment, if I add some and i find I don’t read it I delete them otherwise I just waste my own time skipping over them constantly.

What I do wish is that I could censor some to the subjects that come though, with my motorcycle blogs I get heaps of news on MotoGP, WSBK, new models, business news etc, it’s awesome, but there are two things I hate getting news on… Electric Motorcycles and MV Agustas. Electric Motorcycles are just annoying and look shit, I don’t care that one completed a lap of the IOM or did a 50mph (i know they do more but fuck em) pass at the salt flats, and that most of them seem to be american built you know they will be a piece of crap. MV’s are just fucked up, they make some bike that did 312kph, like any other jap bike couldn’t if they didn’t have a 299kph gentle mans rule. MV’s don’t look that great, they cost alot and don’t win shit in the racing world. fuck off

I read Valerie Vargas’ Blog via RSS, I love the work she does, it’s so cool, anyway, she posted this blog with had a photo of her getting tattooed by a colleague, I love it, the concentration, the tone of the image, the work that’s being done, it all adds up for a fantastic shot.
